Gianludovico Spizuoco, mechanical engineer

Studio Spizuoco Ingegneria is an independent engineering firm built around one idea: engineering companies need reliable calculations from someone who understands both the codes and the plant. The studio is led by Gianludovico Spizuoco, a mechanical engineer from the University of Bologna and registered professional engineer in Italy.

Before founding the studio he spent eight years at the engineering firm Progra — first as structural engineer, then as stress engineer, project manager and finally lead piping and pipeline engineer — and earlier worked on site for an industrial contractor, from planning to construction management. That mix explains the approach: calculations that respect fabrication and construction constraints, not just software checks.

Today the studio works from Ravenna (Italy) and the Lisbon area (Portugal) for EPC contractors, engineering firms, package vendors and plant owners, on projects in more than 25 countries. It also teaches: official Bentley courses on AutoPIPE and STAAD were delivered for CADConnect, a Bentley Platinum Channel Partner.
